Glazing Workshop
Learn decorative glazing techniquesAbout this experience
- Studio space is limited to a total of 6 attendees.
- Glaze techniques we will cover in this course are Painting and Brushing, Dripping, Wax resist, Splatter, and Sponging.
- The workshop is an hour and a half to 2 hours long.
- Clay, glaze, supplies, tools, and kiln firing are provided. This workshop includes one mug and two plates for you to keep.
- This is a glazing workshop only. If you have signed up for the previous hand-building class, you can work on glazing the piece you made. Otherwise, we will work on pre-made, bisque-fired mugs and plates to practice glazing techniques.
- You will also learn a bit about loading and firing the kiln. Your pieces will be loaded into the kiln on the day of the workshop and ready to pick up two days later.
- When your piece is ready, we will notify you of what day and time they can be picked up.
- This workshop is for ages 16 and up.

The workshop will be held in our home studio. As a safety precaution, the address will be provided with your order confirmation email. The location information will be there. The studio is located in the Hollywood Hills / Cahuenga Pass area.
