I originally made this chess set for my son. I wanted a cool chess set that I didn't mind never being put away for our on-gong long games of chess. I never had any intention of selling a chess set on my site. But, when I shared it with my Instagram followers, so many people asked if they could buy one. So here it is... each piece handcrafted and hand-painted by me.
Because all 33 pieces of this set is hand-carved, rolled, shaped and painted. And because you can't rush clay ( it needs time to dry slooooooowly) - please allow time for your order to arrive and also for design inconsistencies.
For now, this Lavender set is the only colorway available. However, please email me at orders@lux-eros.com to discuss the possibility of a custom colorway with this caveat: I can only provide the colors that I already use in my studio and I will not do custom designed pieces. You'll have to trust my design!
The chess board is approximately 10"x10"
The sizes the pieces vary from 1"-3" high x 3/4" - 1" wide
Materials: Low-fire whiteware clay hand-painted with lavender, cream and earthtone speckled underglaze.

Returns Policy
Our products are made to order and imperfections are inherent to the beauty of the products. In the event that you receive a broken, damaged, or wrong item, we will gladly absorb the shipping cost pertaining to returns and the replacement of items. We will provide a return slip for your package. Credit will be processed within 7 to 10 business days from receipt of the authorized item. Please allow the 4-6 week for the product to be remade and reshipped.
Shipping
Our ceramics are handmade to order and generally take about 1 to 2 weeks to craft. Once your order is complete we will hand box your items in protective packaging. We ship USPS ground unless otherwise indicated.
